Erica Durance BIOGRAPHY
Erica Durance was born on January 1, 1978 (day and month not confirmed as of yet) in Calgary, Canada to a truck driver, Joel, and librarian, Gail. She grew up with an older brother and sister on a turkey farm in Three Hills, Alberta in Canada. After school, she moved to Vancouver to start her acting career. During her early works in movies and tv shows she was credited as Erica Parker, simply due to the fact that she had been married before. At age 18 she got married to her boyfriend of over a year. Three years later the couple got divorced. Erica made her acting debut in the 2002 horror movie The Untold aka Inexplicable (Canada: French title) and Sasquatch (USA). Other roles included House of the Dead (2003) and the made for tv movie Devil Winds (2003). In 2004 she was cast as the young Lois Lane in the WB's hit tv show Smallville - she plays the role to perfection. Due to her success among the fans, she was made a recurring guest star, starring in 13 out of 22 episodes. Erica got married to actor David Palffy on January 8th 2005 after they'd been in a relationship for 3 years.
