Claire Danes BIOGRAPHY
Claire is a pretty girl, but I don't find much to love here. She's insanely skinny without any breasts to speak of, and I don't find her face to be all that stunning. In this case, the whole package doesn't really come together for me. She's not even one of those girls who isn't all that good looking but is insanely talented. I've never really been blown away by her acting abilities. Attending Yale University beginning fall 1998. [1998] Dated actor Matt Damon. [1996] Chosen by "People" magazine as one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world. [1997] She came to L.A. to be cast on a role in Schindler's List (1993), when she was discovered for the role in "My So-Called Life" (1994). Steven Spielberg finally gave her the role but she turned it down, because they weren't willing to give her schooling in Poland. Was banned from the Philippines in Sept 1998, for making derogatory remarks about the country. The President of the Philippines condemned her publicly. Auditioned for the role of Lisa in Girl, Interrupted (1999).Was considered for the title role in Lolita (1997). Auditioned and was the first choice for the role of Rose in Titanic (1997).
